Belloumi for his second half performance. He was invisible in the first half. Coyle. The fella busts a gut for this team and he looked a frustrated figure at the end. I wonder what he really thinks of Walterball? Pandur. For his first half saves alone, when they ran through us as though they were playing against a Div 16 Sunday League team. ... A very, very naive performance. Tactically a shambles and with the talent we had out there today, with better organisation we could have got something. Walter is trying to reinvent the game when it doesnt need reinventing.
Pandur 2 great 1:1 saves early on. Coyle just being Capt Courageous as per. Kamara looked good and more direct than Millar who tries too many twists and turns sometimes.
I thought so too. Reading his recent interview it look like he's going to give it a go here. Seemed pretty obvious he thought he was off to boro so he was going through the motions a bit
He did save some shots kept us in the game early on too easy to blame the keeper there are ten more players in front of him.
Kamara (pick of the forwards) Pedro (showed some much needed passion) Alzate (didn't appear to make any mistakes, unlike the rest of the team) don't get to see many games so disregard if I'm out to lunch
Five points for first choice, three for second, one for third. Pandur 96 Belloumi 50 Coyle 42 Alzate 15 Kamara 12 Zambrano 6 Pedro 4 Mehlem 3 Drameh 1 Never a good look when you get tonked four to none and your goalkeeper gets nigh on twice as many votes as the nearest outfield player. It becomes immaterial how much quality we can now get on the pitch in an attacking capacity if we are going to ship goals as easily as we did in this game. It's not heart attack football, it's suicidal football. Needs addressing.
