Pub on Saturday I was playing (Flass Inn, Ushaw Moor) there was one. He was “yeah but you were only playing Leeds” when I pointed out that Leeds squad cost 90m+ and Newcastle’s, compared to those they’d failed to beat *(other than city) cost masss, he then went on the “yeah but almiron was our record signing” and started saying they didn’t spend money before the Saudis. I then asked how much Joelinton cost, he said “£40m why?” When I sprained that Mike Ashley was the owner he started trying to argue! They are literally all the same!
