Yea first time. I got loads on my list. The bad boys series, hardly seen any of denzels old films so need to go through them.
Watched Joker the other day, excellent film, far closer to Falling Down than the superhero movie I assumed it would be. My only complaint was Phoenix seems a bit too old to play the Joker, as it makes him 40 years older than Batman. Started watching Severance (apple TV series from 2022, just been renewed for a 2nd series) Giving that a 7.5. If you lie conspiracy stuff you'll probably like it. Christopher Walken & (the under-rated) John Turturro are in it.
Final season of Snowfall now, superb stuff that sells to have gone under the radar with a lot of people.
Brassic Late to the party on this one but better late than never eh. Excellent comedy series with a terrific cast and brilliant writers. Watched the first series and part of the second over the weekend and what a treat it was. Loads and loads of laugh out loud moments. Has there ever been anything Joe Gilgun has been in where he's not been terrific? Dominic West as his mental GP is particularly hilarious. Brilliant British TV 9/10
Nightmare Alley 8.2/10 Rewatched last night visually brilliant and just a really good film. Yes I've seen the original.
I don't remember that scene, maybe in the new one with Lady Gaga, but I suspect it's just you fantasizing again.
Been off sick with chest infection....sound like a 90 year old 40 a day smoker ffs... Binged watched Nightsleeper ... the BBC mini series... Quite enjoyed it but mayhave been the copious amounts of meds I'm on 7 out of 10
Hit Man - 7 Glen Powell seems to be in almost every film at the moment. Solid watch though and Adria Arjona is just so fine. Next level fine.
New Joker film just looks terrible but I'm going to watch it and find out myself. Really hoping Costner's big western picks up better reviews for the second part or it might get binned.
Apparently they've made it into a musical... ****ing bonkers. Still yet to see Costner's Horizon film just yet, saw it got mixed reviews. He left Yellowstone to do this and heard he dumped a load of money into the production of it.
