Match Day Thread Norwich v Hull City

Some seem to have an absolutely huge chip on their shoulder over Baz, it's a bit crazy to see. I've had frustrations with him in the past being a bit too keen to praise Acun, and sometimes mis-reporting things (timing of takeover being completed, transfers etc. which seem more and more to be a fault of Acun rather than Baz's) but the abuse is just a bit much.

 

Who’s having a meltdown? People are just saying he’s a crap journalist making unsubstantiated accusations against Norwich fans.

 

I quite like Kraken, haven’t tried the others but will have to keep an eye out.

Truth be told I usually stick rum in a mixer anyway so it probably doesn’t matter if it’s Captain Morgan’s

 

Hopefully Acun has the coping mechanisms to deal with your character assassination

 

Is it though? Our press is half-hearted and way too easy to pass around or through, and given that our midfield is non-existent it's no wonder the opposition ends up in front of goal after a couple of passes. Just can't see how Tim's approach is sustainable if the aim is top six. Yes we'll win a few against the lesser teams but, as almost everyone here has said, it doesn't work against a half decent forward line.

 

We are very likely to get better as the season wears on - players get used to the system, the system is tweaked to address regular problems, we bring in better players that are currently not at peak fitness. It seems unwise to write off future games against top sides and conclude we can’t or won’t do any better.

 

I'd take it as a compliment to Kamara that the Norwich fans seemed to care so much
about him leaving the club

I would love to see Gary Neville and co go into their deep analysis on our defending like they do with premier league games. Could have a full 2 hour blockbuster just on a single game

Malcom Lord, so called fans booed him in their sleep..I recall Tommy Docherty, when he was here at the time of the booing, going spare. Then Lord scored in the next home game.. A midweek game (might have been v Swindon) and Tommy going on 10 yard run down the touchline...

 

As long as we are at the right end of the table under any manager i couldn’t care less about getting promoted. The 3 promoted teams haven’t won a game yet, **** the prem

Having just read the big bad baz article, he says pantomime jeering like booing and asking what’s the score is fun an acceptable but then written that whole article on the back off, booing and asking what’s the score?

Scratching my head a bit there.

 

Providing we eventually find a way to pick up points against better teams we very well might be in the mix. We’ve won 3 games we were expected to, lost 3 we probably were expected to as well. Just need to be the manner of defeat that needs addressing, we can’t be so easily beaten like we have been

 

Atm weve not gained any points against teams above 14th

We've given the opposition 70 chances in the last four games. Seventy. We're conceding exactly the same type of goal every week and Pandur has regularly been our MOTM. How long does the season go on before he decides to tweak the system?

 

He doesn’t need to tweak the system, he need to drill the players to defend as a team, rather than 10 individuals doing their own thing.

 

It’s about balance isn’t it.

Last season we were better against teams higher but dropped 28 or so points against teams in the bottom half. Just need to strike the balance between the 2, more structure for better teams when we defend but then the continued ruthlessness against lesser opponents

 

If that's the case he must be a ****ing terrible communicator because, if anything, we're even more open now than at the start of the season. SEVENTY chances offered up in the last four games?

 

Just needs a bit more time and 2-3 more players
