We're all on a downer after our latest results. So let's have a thread of QPR great goals ( I can think of least 30 of them ) to cheer us up through the International break. My choice is not my greatest but in terms of magnitude, it's right up there and hopefully brings a smile to your face and the hairs stand up on the back of your neck when you hear the R's fans roar ...
I was at Loftus Road on Tuesday night to see the shocking performance against Hull. I was due to go to Derby Saturday but cancelled on Friday evening as I tested positive for covid - yes, 3.5 years after the pandemic started, it finally got me. Been stuck in all weekend feeling ****e and then to watch a second ****e performance online in the space of a few days lol. The Bobby Zamora moment was great and the moment will never be forgotten for the 45k QPR fans in the ground but I have to say the Trevor Sinclair goal against Barnsley in the FA Cup was the best goal I have ever seen live. Pure athleticism and skill. Never forget both those goals.
I'm struggling to see through the fog of my QPR depression at the moment Ninesy, but this is a good idea. I recall a game, probably in the late 80s or early 90s, when Andy Gray scored twice for us against Man Utd. These must have been two of the hardest shots ever seen at LR. Don't think I've ever seen them on video.
The first and best goal I've seen us score. Also the first game QPR game that I can remember seeing! Nearly 50 years ago.
