Morning all. So is it Friskey Friday or just preparation before celebratory Saturday? Whatever else happens tomorrow, let's hope all the fans at tomorrow's game, even those from downtown Deptford, give Gary a good send off. A win would help, but regardless of the result, a good game, loads of respect & a fond farewell to a Leeds (& Welsh) legend!!
Morning, and welcome to another exciting edition of Frisky Fridays. Really looking forward to the Wall match tomorrow lunchtime, I'll be following it on my computer as I'll be at work. If we play half as well as we did on Tuesday, I can see a comfortable 2-0 win for the Mighty Whites. The entire team played well, especially Howson, who played in his more familiar role that he played last season. Do we stick with the 4-5-1, or use that tactic only away from home? Lonergan is back in training, PHEW. McCartney will undoubtably play tomorrow, but may be back next week? Anyone know how Somma's getting on? Song of the day has to be Stereophonics frontman and Leeds fan Kelly Jones recent acoustic version of Andy Williams's classic Can't Take My Eyes Off You as tribute to Gary Speed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TxW1aXMs48
Yea hopefully Millwall fans pay respect. I know they are some decent wall fans out there but there are certainly some ****ish wall fans out there as well that may be disrespectful towards speed. Anyway, anyone have a song of the day?
I reckon we will play a 4-5-1 not that i agree with it. I reckon its a bit negative for a home game, but then again did seem to work, i still dont think becchio is as good as keogh though and would prefer to see him than becchio even in a 4-5-1 formation
please log in to view this image Morning all, think Millwall will behave. There wont be many travelling anyway & as its not a minutes silence they would be drowned out either way, although I understand thats not the point
Boggers is far more frisky then me (you should have seen him last night Its certainly his turn, though I will post song of the day... Cheers one & all. What are you on about Elland, I was perfectly well behaved last night. Glad to see someone else put up a song of the day. All I could think of, apart from Hymns & Arias (ask the Swans fans about that) were stuff way too morose for a Frisky Friday.
Unfortunately not. Will be running round Greenwich, which is in deptford for those that don't know. So make plenty of noise please chaps so that 'Wall fans not going to the game will appreciate what it's like to have a really noisy set of fans!!!
I left it too late and now a return ticket would cost me about £100, unless I leave here before 6 and that's never going to happen. Gutted as if I book two weeks in advance, it's only £30. Wish I could be there.
Not unless I leave now Elland If you ever fancy travelling up together to Elland road via train we could always meet up at Basngstoke in the new year, maybe meet up with Radebeer and Boggers up at Waterloo
Works for me Bucks. I'd have said Victoria because there's a Weatherspoons that does an okay breakfast & a couple of pints for next to nothing. But Waterloo works as well.
I could do with a nice breakfast 3 sausages, 3 bacon slices, grilled tomato, 2 x fried slice, mushrooms and 2 fried eggs, oh, and a strong coffee
Morning peg sellers I'll be there the morrow. Another emotional day on the cards remembering Speedo, and nice of Batts to come out of hiding to pay respects.
