Morning all - been away for a while for work and haven't evenb looked at a race card since the breeder's cup so hope everyone is well.

Just one for me today and it is one already put up by TopClass - Sizing Symphony 1-55 Sandown. Really like the look of this one and think he's got the amiings of a very good animal.

    Good luck everybody.

    13:30 Exeter - Tarateeno

(Thorough stayer over hurdles but has not set the world alight over fences. Would have a chance if his jumping improves a bit? Jockey Andrew Thornton certainly better over the bigger obstacles, although not a great favourite of mine. Best of luck today everyone!). <ok>

Looking for a good run from Traitor in the first at Sandown. Really impressed with Hinterland at Cheltenham and he was well beaten in 6th that day. A nice form boost would go down nicely.

    Good afternoon everyone.

A real test for Fingal Bay today 1.55, 11/8 but i feel that if he makes it a real strong gallop that he'll prove too strong for the oppostion today. I'd like to see him make all and think he will.

One horse that catches my eye also is Ambion Wood in the 2.05 at Exeter you wont get rich at 2/1 though

So i'll play the APPRAISE horse Swincombe Flame2.40 Ex 1/2 and have a small treble at around 10/1.

    Good luck guys.

Agreed on Traitor Zen - looks by far the best form in the race and really should be taking this. Danger could be Zamina at the weights - if this filly is any good over hurdles then giving her a stone may not be too easy

Ooooh that was disappointing from Traitor. Nice debut from Zamina though - should be winning a race soon

Disappointing from Traitor. Never got involved and weakened quickly.

Walkon was really impressive. Jumped well and cruised clear of Notus De La Tour and Zaynar. Jewson?

I might even be tempted to go for the Arkle with him Zen - you need a good stayer to win that and it is far more prestigeous <ok>

10/1 with PP for the Jewson and 16/1 for the Arkle.

Tataniano out of the Tingle Creek and out for the season. Ruby rides Kauto Stone but still some doubt whether he runs. Ground seems soft enough so I would expect him to take his chance.

It was just a few years back when he was a very good juvenile so he clearly has ability. It was a most taking debut and thoughts of the Arkle aren't ludicrous it must be said. Suspect he might want further, and given the strength of the Arkle field, the Jewson looks the race for him.

    Sir Barney will be devastated.

Heavy rain forecast for Esher starting around midnight tonight until the early hours. Question is how much and will it get into the ground. It could well be soft come the start of racing tomorrow.

Walkon put in one of the best rounds of novice jumping I have seen, very smooth.
