We certainly played 5 at the back, 4 in the middle and only 1 up top 1st 25 minutes or so. We then changed to our more recognisable shape of 4 4 2 when defending with Rigg alongside Wilson from then on we looked more comfortable defensively for the rest of the game.
Reggie must do his homework on the opposition and sets us up as he sees fit. What I like is he recognises when it isnt working and has a back up.

It is where that Middlesbrough performance may be repeated. It wasnt very easy on the eye, but it was effective. I still prefer a more attractive style, first 15 mins last night were great, but if we can pinch a few 1-0 victories on the road like Boro then I wont whinge.

He isnt do it of his own volition mate. It is a clear instruction from the coach. I can see the logic from a coaches perspective at times in games, but not to start a game and not for extended periods.
Real bright spot this season so far. Looks ready to me. What has surprised me most is his strength. He looks ready for the rough and tumble. I would have no worries if he started due to a suspension or injury. Does make the Poveda signing a bit more odd imo, but it is a long old season.
Honestly think we have moved on from the level of Adil. Shame for the lad, but he hasnt really shown he can play at the level we want imo. Flashes here and there, but decision making has always been his problem. Ba is another I suspect. Shame they couldnt have got summer moves. Sitting out of things on a matchday serves nobody.
we didn't know the full extent of was he ready to step straight in, only one way to find out cameo 30 min against Hull then full 45 to 90 against one of the weaker teams, especially if Dan is a bit off colour as it looks like he may need a break
Going back to that magnificent equaliser last night I am amazed no offical bodies have looked into match fixing. Cannot imagine seeing anything like that again
