38 minutes in, and I stand by my pre-match comment...Frey is a lonely man..he just got the ball, in our half, with three defenders within four metres of him. No support, no midfielders near him to support him. If we are even going to have a hope of creating chances, get one of the midfielders off and get Celar on at half-time. Please don't wait until the 87th minute to bring Celar on. Or score this free-kick... Nope.
Where on earth is our next win coming from? We're playing some of the worst teams in the league at the moment and they're making us look like sunday morning footballers.
Field and Madsen really not in the game so far, if they could provide a bit of positive possession could change things a fair bit.
Just before half time there, a through ball went through for Derby and a player was offside. He ran ahead but didn't get on the ball. Instead, he blocked off Sam Field to prevent him from getting to the other player running on to the ball. Somehow that player isn't active so it's not offside??
I see we're still persisting with having all 10 outfield players back in a our box at opposition corners........ffs why?
League 2 level football at best. No intensity, no quality and no evidence of any strategy. Madsen and Saito may as well not be on the pitch. Derby are terrible and we’re sitting deep. What happened to Marti’s ‘front foot’ football?
I still can't work out if some of our newer players are any good as they manage about 2 touches a game. Our ability to be wherever the ball isn't is fantastic
