4th game in a row they've scored right at the start. I haven't watched them but are they doing anything interesting from kick offs?
Feels like a lot of it is just competing well for second balls. There’s an edge around set pieces and aerial stuff in the PL this season. Arsenal appear to be basing their entire title challenge around it.
Man City have only named 8 subs and 2 of those are goalkeepers. Don’t get it at all, surely you fill the bench and use a youngster from the 21s? Just the experience of being in a PL match day squad could be massive.
Pep’s really not that interested in subs. Doesn’t really use all that many. Hate that sort of thing though. Big thing that soured me on O’Neill was when he picked a short bench because he didn’t want a youngster to think they’d made it. Terrible stuff.
Stewart getting looked at by the physio on the pitch Saints v Arsenal. Going off and being replaced by Cameron Archer. Onto watching Jack Clarke for Ipswich then
Ah ****e. Didn’t feel like his early forays at pl level were that promising technically but that is just awful for the lad.
