The Gills will need to bounce straight back after their midweek defeat. Crewe had a midweek break with their fixture at Wimbledon postponed due to the flooding. They lost (2-1) their fixture last Saturday at Newport County, with previous defeats at the beginning of the season at Barrow (1-0) and at home to Chesterfield (0-5). Their biggest win was at home to Harrogate 3-0. I'm not confident at the moment and it's down to the lads to reinstill that confidence back in the team, we can do it, but Crewe seem to love the 1-0 wins just as much as us, so I hope I'm wrong... We should win as I am off to conduct a wedding so cannot watch it. In the only 2 matches I have watched we lost. I still feel we are missing something, and cannot put my finger on it. We were equal with Man City and have not been beaten at home for 18 months. The results of winning and losing are almost equal 57 recorded league matches with 23 wins and 24 defeats, and only 10 draws.
