Not just a bit ****. It's actually insane how quickly we can go from winning 3 on the bounce to again looking like they've never played together. This today is worse than Leeds or Sheff Utd. This is appalling
You're never out of a game at 2-0 but if we persist with a huge gap between the Centre backs and a huge space for the opposition to exploit then I doubt we're in for a good day
Not in the game so far, though Bedia should have scored with the header, which might have turn things around. Drameh has been off it, Macca is just too slow, I suspect Hughes might be better suited with these counter-attacks.
Drameh’s had a stinker. Poor touches and positioning is suspect. McLoughlin is an old-fashioned ‘stopper’ centre-half. Can win headers and is strong but moves like an 18-wheeler and isn’t press-resistant at all. Norwich are probably the most aggressive pressing team we’ve faced this season and we’ve not handled it well at all. Barring Coyle, none of the defenders have covered themselves in glory. Midfield just aren’t getting on the ball enough either and they’re always miles away from the defensive line so counter-attacks just rip us to pieces.
How many can we make nowadays? I’d start with Hughes for Mac Peurto for Zam Simons for Slater Burstow for Bedia Kamara for Hulloumi Palmer for Mehlem Get Alzate on too.
