@Smug in Boots hit it spot on the other day, average footballer from a pub league playing in the second highest tier of the game! Decent fir this level, but will need replacing if we go up.

I don’t see why people are so outraged about his time wasting. Everyone does it and we saw far worse in L1.

Injury then lack of game time, you’ll know better than me though that some players get up to speed quicker than others, some can be out forever and then pretty much come straight back in like they’ve never been away when others can take an age. I’m probably putting a slightly pessimistic slant on it by putting Samed in the latter category without much to base it on.

‘Should’ve’ seems very harsh to me. They were all relatively difficult chances be it due to distance from goal, the way the ball was arriving at him or the bodies between him and the goal.

Think a point was just about fair. Neither team actually threatened much second half. I don’t agree with some that Rigg was poor, his ability to play one touch football meant a lot of our good play first half ran through him. He tired second half alongside Roberts. Watching back the extended highlights Hume is poor for the second goal, drawn out of position to try and tackle Gnonto and then jumps in rashly getting nowhere near the goal scorer.

Pleased with a point, we needed more options from the bench but after the international break we will have that.

I just hate time wasting in general. But the amount of time he was taking with his kicks was a piss take. Has the 6 second rule gone now. If he had been bouncing the ball so it was in play fair enough but he was just blatantly holding it for ages. Refs never seem to act on this.

Been scanning a couple of Leeds and neutral teams’ forums this morning (always good to get a different perspective and some balance) and in the main the consensus seems to be that, despite the nature of the equaliser, a draw was the right result.

A professional footballer should be scoring at least 1 then. He was unlucky with a blocked one but he still should be scoring those. 2 of them weee 18 yards out with time and space.

I’m not. Had he not done it, the whistle would’ve gone before our goal! Nice she. It comes back to bite you is my point. I hate time wasting generally

Reflecting back and trying hard not to piss myself laughing at the goal I still feel we were worth the point

    Couple of points

The 20 minutes they were on top they looked good. We seemed to panic a little understandable given the age of the team

Well done to the lads for getting back into that first half. We could even possibly have gone in in the lead although more half chances.

Second half fell behind against run of play. Thought just before the end they had a really good chance on the counter.

We didn't press as much - was this because we were nervous about their counter attack speed.

For those in the know such as @Scout73 etc why does Hume go in field so much. Seems to leave us exposed

Overall a serious test for us and they must almost feel like they won. Luke at the end man. Daft as anything that lad

Yeah good point from FellTop about Roberts getting kicked. Thought Firpo in particular was given a few extra fouls beyond the point he should have actually picked up a card.

Certain aspects off his game are excellent others not so much, he is never going to stand up his man and beat him, that is not his game, he is much better in the middle where his one touch passing and awareness shine, give him space and he can switch it wide as well. Fans (and probably Rigg himself) still need to learn what he does good and what he needs to avoid.

We’re desperate for players back like. Bench was lifting again last night, it’s no wonder he only made 2 subs

And it's lead to 19 points from 9 games and more than likely being in the top 2 at the 2nd international break of the season. Long may it continue.

At one point the ref went and took the ball off him and put it on the ground to tell him to get in with it. It was early on and he was stood having a debate with the cb, which they did several times to slow it down.
