That explains it. Here I am thinking no one has realised how hard the white numbers were to see until we used the kit! Now I feel like a right mug!

From memories of TV licences it used to be a lot more for colour than black and white ...

... I assume it's the same with football shirts.

In fact the club have shown how tight they are by forcing Bellingham to use 'Jobe' on his shirt as it's paid by the letter. Speakman has been instructed to only sign players like Rusyn, with five letters max in their name, and to find a Wowcher deal on Revels ...

... apparently Mowbray is munching his way through the fee we got for Stewart and there'll be nowt left for the January window <doh>

I've also heard the reason they are keeping cars back after the game in the SoL, is so someone can go around with a bucket and sponge cleaning windscreens. Profits to go back into the club.

No fan of the podcast and less so of their social media ****housery but I think they ask a pretty valid question.

I think people who represent organisations at high levels should do their best to be somewhat impartial when speaking on such divisive matters publicly.

Sunderland Director celebrates deaths of many just isn't a ****ing headline I want to read.

It's the cherry picking from Pearlmans' statement, mate. They've taken one paragraph from a much longer statement about media coverage and bias of Israel and antisemitism to make it look like he's cheering the deaths of members of Hezbollah. I doubt very few people had even read what Pearlman had written in full or what the context of what it is. It's just to use it as a stick to beat the club with and make a story where there wasn't one. If it wasn't that it would be something else, no matter what, they'd twist it to try and score points against the club.

I haven’t read it in full, not sure where to read it but very uncomfortable about him applauded that attack and supporting the criminals that are the current Israeli government. That’s not any defence of Hezbollah either. It’s complicated of course but don’t celebrate kids being blown up in markets. Unless the whole statement gives it another context in which case I apologise.
Also, have to be honest I think Sartori represents a lot that’s wrong with the world. Probably hard to find someone that rich in football that doesn’t, look at Jim Radcliffe. All vile and entitled. That’s said WMS represent everything that’s bad about our fans. Wetherspoon has a hugely inflated sense of self importance, and I think partly does it for advertising attention. ‘I’m an accountant’

They're just looking to find an excuse to knock the club at every opportunity and thus playing into the hands of the more mentally challenged amongst us,most of whom lurk on RTG.

Must admit Perlman's posts on twitter have been making me a little uncomfortable for the last year. In a situation that is characterised by the fact that it is incredibly grey, there are some views that are (and should be) pretty much universally agreed. To see someone very markedly only reference one type of those 'truths' from one side of the conflict is a bad sign IMO. He's also fond of posting a lot of the type of content from the likes of the JC that always looked - and has subsequently been revealed to be - false.

As for the WMS lot, they remain stuck in crusader mode. They'll keep campaigning - and inventing areas to campaign - till their end.

Pearlman may be a big Sunderland and bring other good things to the city, but his opinions leave a lot to be desired. Got a platform, should inspire good not hate.

He’s entitled to an opinion if you disagree fair enough but i would rather we knew his view and be honest than the ****e hypocrisy politicians come out with .

Our very own Baby Reindeer <doh>

When I was reading through this thread I was poised to name and shame the waffler himself, before remembering how he rocked up like Beetlejuice whenever his name(s) were mentioned <laugh>
