One of the all-time City greats who doesn't get mentioned enough when talking about legends. Was he at the Cardiff game for the 120 year celebrations?
Sadly no.....i spoke to him on Saturday after the event and asked why he,wasnt there...he said he is really bad on his legs these days....only had to ask and i would have got him there
I think it'll be the same 11 and bench as QPR, not sure who'll start though. They've spent all this time telling us Puerta and Pedro need to be fitter, surely they'll sit out one more game then be ready after the international break? I'd have thought Hughes could do with a bit longer to recover from his surgery too. But, what do I know.
An excellent player whose contribution is sometimes underestimated. He drove me to a match at city when I was looking after Ron Rafferty's son. We were waiting for him at the players entrance after the match when a policeman told us to move on. I said we were waiting for Ken Houghton to give us a lift home and that Paul was Ron Rafferty's son. His response "Aye and I'm Stanley Matthews' son so f**k off". The look on his face when Ken came out was priceless.
Is Zambrano fit for tomorrow? I've just put a bet on him to score anytime at 17/2 for £47.50 winnings.
You gotta be ahead of the game with these things. Stick that bet down the next game after he’s just had an absolute ****ter. That’s the way it usually rolls.
Kamara needs to start paying his fee back by getting a brace tomorrow, kissing the badge and celebrating in front of these Bernard Matthew ****s.
