He took it well to be fair, saw the funny side, but yeah he deserved it.

Absolutely bonkers bit of goalkeeping, seemed to forget how to act like a human being with eyes never mind a professional footballer.

That last angle from behind the other goal it does look like it takes a bit of a funny bounce but that’s no excuse

Thought we were pretty poor on the whole going forward today, strange tactics from Farke, long time to try and sit on a lead can see why he’s not popular there

Do we reckon the fact patto was taken the free kick has had ahand in that from the keeper? He was probably concentrating on pinging it down the pitch trying to catch patto out?

    Funny old game eh?

I thought Meslier looked the best of all the keepers we've seen so far this season, he took a lot of crosses and corners and made it look easy, anything around the penalty spot he was taking, really good range.

Then he goes and does that.

In fairness, aside from the howler, their gamesmanship / game management stopped us getting the ball at all

Good of RLB to admit his defensive shape at the start didn't work

I think you are a million miles off tonight mate. Literally a million miles off. Opinions and all that. He is rotating between a 3rd CB and a single pivot at thd request of the coach. He is playing those dual roles in an on the ball manor. He has been off form in games this season, tonight is 100% not one of those. A solid 8/10 for me.

I was going to come on here at full time and say anyone that finishes above Leeds will 100% go up automatically but I’ve only just managed to compose myself after that, comfortably the best side we’ve faced

I don't think it was that bad, he also suffered from being doubled up on by players who really knew their job. I thought he did well carrying the ball down the pitch despite being tightly marked and put some good balls in we could/should have scored from.

One thing we can agree on though is that he grafted well as you say. Always does doesn't he.

    cheers again RTB...

this club is gonna have me in an early(ier) grave man.

did they get a shot of nerves afore kick off, so many mis-placed passes, nowhere near the ball, trying far too hard at times, not being able to hit the ball straight when shooting..so much wrong on that pitch the neet yet they still claw a draw out of it.

don't get me wrong mind, i thought a draw would be a good result before kick off and was expecting a tough game but they made it harder than it needed to be but overall a draw is a fair result imo.

really struggling for a MotM but giving it to onien, he simply threw himself at everything and made some important blocks but being honest, no one really stood out with some good play from the middle three, roberts and mundle kept trying but were kept out, wilson never got a chance but there were also the lousy passing in there as well, will take the draw and the break with both hands.

ref watch: why do we now see refs with premiership experience in charge championship games now that are really bad...you weould expect them to be a 'step above' the usual men in the middle, could it be that VAR has affected them, it's like they just let a lot of things go now abd wait for the message from the VAR ref, except there will not be one, anyhow this one was the worst recent chap and left fans and players of both sides wondering wtf was happening at times with some strange decisions, for example jobe getting a yellow right after kick of (no problem with that as he pulled the lad down) then not too long after that cirkin was pulled down but no card for the leeds player..consistency officials please!!

Was his best game of the season imo, thought he took control in the 2nd half - dropped in looking to get on the ball n then would step forward to be an option as well

He has been poor this season but played well tonight, hopefully kicks on now

One of the craziest keeper gaffs I've ever seen. I couldn't stop laughing!

We deserved at least a point from that game. Well done lads :emoticon-0165-muscl <applause>

    Reggie on Meslier

“Of course, the journey for any young player is difficult. You can have bad moments and better moments, but he is a good guy and a good person. I like the player, but I like the person as well.

“I will be very happy to see him, although I hope he will not do too well on the pitch and that he will have to be looking at his net to take the ball out. That would be nice.

It was, very nice! Bless him. Thought he had a good game overall, not that it matters now:emoticon-0102-bigsm:1980_boogie_down:

Yep, my mate watched hin for the 1st time tonight n said 'not a lot came off for that Mundle lad, but I really like the look of him. Worked his a$$ off n tried to be positive throughout'

Just felt he made it easier to double up on him by being too slow at times with the ball - will never fault a player for working hard n trying to take the game by the scuff of yhe neck which he did
