It’s a huge opportunity for him and it’s up to him to make the most of it.

Ross Stewart has went down injured with nobody around him 20 minutes into his first start. Speakman has pulled an absolute blinder to get £8m from him

 

Gutted for him. His games for us in the champ when we were just promoted showed how good he is. As lone strikers go he is a real handful, and takes his chances. The injury seems to have taken it out of him. I would have backed him to get somewhere in the 12 to 15 goals in the prem before that. Everything defenders hatr playing against. Hope this is mimor, but you have to fear for him now.

I was incredibly disappointed in him when he went to Saudi, but I’d have him here in a heartbeat. Hugely experienced leader who would surely still be able to do a decent champ level job of calming down a team that’s hopefully in the midst of a promotion run. Add in the fact that he’d have a little extra juice playing for the club he loves.
