it's worked in our favour a couple times now, regis gets us playing a bit more controlled after talking
The team currently top of the league up against the team who’re as short as 6/4 to win the league Massive game and one where I can probably judge us after. Not once this season have I thought we had enough to be promoted. Beat Leeds and that could well change Ha’way the lads
May be so but it absolutely drives me mad for some reason, it's not a game of basketball. Might as well just introduce timeouts.
Their keeper was poor and his distribution was hideous. Booted it straight out of play about 4 times running in the first half Also looked like he was ready for a game of water polo.
Cashin is a very good player, I thought we might sign him after Rooneys derby team were relegated, but I think there was concerns over fitness at the time..
My mate was up from Derby for the game, one of the first things he said was their keepers distribution was utter ****e...he then booted it straight out for a throw. I also asked him if Petr Cech was his hero. Supposedly he's had two really bad concussions so has been told a third might end his career.
He played for field possession in added time yesterday right into the corner flag. The best place for the opposition to have the ball as they have to get away from their area without truly having control of the situation as we have the extra man. So not daft at all. The poster above suggesting the quick throw in as you cant be offside is a sound tactic too to get in behind. And Roberts was the final man in their half at one stage for a goal kick and if Patterson had got it to him we'd have been through n goal. If you watch Association Football closely there is still the game of Rugby in there somewhere not least trying to get past a defensive line.
That's probably what triggered it and not actually my idea at all I'd be interested to see it done and followed up with a serious press in normal play.
I was in the North Stand and didn't hear any booing towards him. A few groans when he gave the ball away in the first half but nothing more aggresive than anyone else would have got.
Let a a few definite yellows go but did it for both teams so can't really complain on that front. Mundle had a stonewall yellow right in front of me at the end of the first half them one of their lads second half. As you say though some of his decisions were very poor but luckily had no bearing on the result.
As usual it's the inconsistency that's frustrating. Their player pulls ours down a few minutes in, no card. Our player pulls one of theirs down 20 mins later...yellow card. Then again theirs pulls one of ours down for a counter...no yellow. Linesmen are an absolute waste of a wage these days too, not flagging for fouls unless the ref does first. Blatantly getting throw ins wrong when it's right in front of them. They are becoming pointless.
even worse in the premier, player well offside but let the game go until two lads get concussion and one gets his ankle snapped in the run up to the goal then flag but let VAR decide...totally pointless and dangerous.
I've taken to looking at the opposition's forums or podcasts. It's absolutely bizarre how the post mortems are almost identical, it's like their fans don't understand football at all. They all claim the two teams were pretty equal and only the goals, invariably down to individual errors, etc, separated them. They then describe goals they should've scored to emphasise just how equal things were.Virtually every goal involves some kind of error but that's irrelevant, the whole point is to get the ball into the net by whatever means ... ... here's the latest in the series, from a Derby fan who was there last night 'Was at the game last night, I don’t think there was anything between the two sides ... the first goal came from an error on our part and the second was due to a player being out of position, the lads gave everything again and were very unfortunate with a couple of chances in the 2nd half.'
I do this after a win too, We were better at taking our chances than them, that’s something between the sides
