Farkes substitutions helped Norwich, we were on top and looking more likely to score again before the changes, absolutely stupid thing to do, he's clueless
With Gruev now looking like he has been crocked, we have no holding midfield player unless Tanaka can do the role. This is where Farke should look at what is available and put a squad of players out playing in their best positions. We surely can't go 4-2-3-1 against Sunderland, we still have Aaronson, Rothwell, Ramazani, Tanaka and Gnonto who are all very capable so we can put a decent starting 11 out, we just need to play them in positions where they can shine. We all knew Piroe would enter around 70 minutes, it is like a scripted film, we all knew it would be Joseph making way, I wasn't sure what formation or who was supposed to be playing where when Bamford came on as well, I don't think Farke knew, it was throw them all on and hope someone does "something" which no longer works when you haven't got Summerville and Rutter.
I find this sort of comment difficult to understand. You are 4th in the table, 2 points off automatic promotion, have sold your best players, have only lost one game and yet a section of your supporters want Farke sacked. Stop panicking - he knows this league inside out, he is a good Coach and he will get you promoted. We foolishly let him go and instead ended up with Smith and then, even worse, Wagner - be careful what you wish for.
We don't all want him sacked as we realise he's as good as well get where we are. He can only utilise what squad he's been left with after two disastrous summers of transfers. To be left in the position of using Bamford Piroe or byram as game changers is frankly taking the piss
I watched him all last season I wanted him gone after ten games, he's a one trick pony. If he's such a good coach and he knows this league inside out Why did Norwich sack him?
To be fair I did say ' a section of your supporters' want him sacked. If you have any promising young players he will bring them through. He did that here with Maddison and then Buendia but then finances forced us to sell both as soon as we got promoted with the inevitable result. You are a bigger Club than we are so you needn't face the same situation. Farke develops players and builds a squad but that takes time but surely playoffs last season and 4th in the table so far this season is a good start.
Simples! He got us promoted twice, our Director Of Football immediately sold our best players, the replacements Webber brought in were cheap and sub-standard but Farke was still expected to keep us in the Premier League. He is not a one trick pony. He constantly changes systems and formations to allow for the players he has available. You sold your best players for different reasons but you are still 4th in the table etc etc - how is that a sacking offence? You are a big Club but you are not the only big Club in this league.
If we're not winning every game then some of the fan base won't be happy. It's just how it is up here. It's an achilles heel of ours as the expectation can wear heavy on the team.
Some expect Real Madrid to stroll out each week,and are disappointed when Leeds turn up.After the players we've lost I'm more than happy with what we've got,would have liked another 2 players in transfer window though.
The Joseph/piroe thing is to let Joseph run and stretch the defence and bring on piroe…the guy who can’t run and press but has an eye for goal when the opposition are tired and there’s more space. I get that. Paddy and Joffy? The only ‘attackers’ with a pulse we had to bring on when Willy and largie were goosed. I guess with no wingers and 3 ‘strikers’ on the pitch we were going to look a bit patchy.
We do not have this at little Norwich - if we get up we know we will probably come straight back down again but enjoy a season of watching the best club sides in Europe and also know that the money will keep our Club stable for a few more seasons. Sad, in a way, but fact. Don't worry - Daniel will get you up probably this season.
I never said we were the only big club in this league, I didn't even mention big club, you did. Farke is a one trick pony he plays the same old crap boring style football he's never changed systems or formations for us, he hasnt made any of our players better in my opinion, he may have done for you, but it seems other coaches have the measure of him, we may be in fourth position but this looks a very weak league this year, he won't get us promoted, I don't think he will last the season at Elland Road. He should be sacked for putting Barndoor on the pitch those substitutions last night were a piss take, if players can't last 90 minutes maybe they should do a bit more training.
