Slot said in his press conference Chiesa is out tomorrow hoping he may be back for Saturday but to early to tell at the moment.
Well he didn't last very long, hope he does not suffer from Sturridgeitis wherein if he feels a bit out of sorts he can't play.
Or Coutinhos 'bad back' ..............no,I think Chiesa wants to work hard and do well at LFC. A player who needed a change and happened to make an excellent choice.
He was on the bench at the weekend so I can't think that it was related to his 60mins in the leavue cup. For all we know he was sick but it sounds like a little knock of some sort.
I sincerely doubt it but it'd be nice to see him play for the u21s before his inevitable January loan

Can anyone recall if vvd took a goal kick before or after alisson went down? I am trying to ascertain if the team knew he was in trouble before he went down. A) why back pass forcing a long kick if you know? B) why did the bench not know? C) if they knew why did thry not sub before it happened? D) he was kicking oddly v bologna. Did they assess this and think he was OK or did they k ow he was at risk?? There's a lot of questions about this injury imo
So Arne Slot is be blamed for Alisson's injury ? .https://www.footballinsider247.com/...ned-about-alisson-becker-after-crushing-blow/
Thry must be watching this thread. 15 mins after i pose a question and they are off on one. My questions stand. Did they know during the gsme and leave him on? Did alisson tell anyone? Why did vvd take a goal kick if not told alisson couldn't kick it?
It wouldn't have been after Alisson went down because he went straight off after the kick that did his hamstring or whatever it is. Virgil has taken goal kicks in other games when there's been nothing wrong with Alisson so not sure we can read too much into it.
well on the first question i would go with No as if he felt a problem he surely would have got the physio on to check him out .
Maybe. But taking a short kick to the keeper then moving away to have the two cbs as short passes is one thing. Taking a long kick out is unusual though. Maybe aliason gives vvd the nod at times and he's been carrying this a long time. Who knows. But think back to the prior games. We have seen this outside of the boot, poor clearance that could be construed as an attempted pass bit having seen him.now go wrong footed and trying to do this and ripping his hamstring makes me now think this is ongoing and well known about. I can't see the medical staff not knowing about it. It's fairly basic keepers have to be able to kick long so if there's a serious issue then why rush him back after 2 good games by kelleher when all you have to play is wolves and Bologna and palace. Who knows but it is an interesting little quandary. In any event we have more than adequate cover.
You'd imagine so but looking at how he was trying to kick he looked to be protecting it so I'm idly speculating about how he's done this in prior games.
