    Match Preview;
After yesterday's loss to a strong Blackburn side, we have little time to lick our wounds as we welcome Hull City to HQ on Tuesday evening. We welcome Hull as they seem to have turned a corner after an awful start to the season. After five games they'd yet to record a win, but, of course, they've won their last two, beating Stoke 1-3 then Cardiff 4-1. After Liam Rosenoir left them in the summer to manage Strasbourg, they appointed 48 year old Tim Walter as their new manager...a German manager who was sacked by Hamburger SV in February.

As for us, I watched the Blackburn game, and it only ever looked like it was going to go one way. Yes, we were away from home, and yes, they are a good side, but it would have been nice to at least look like we wanted to attack and put them under pressure, then the red card sealed the deal. Up against Hull, we must surely put out a side that will go and pressure them in the final third, and play for the win from the first kick. I'd love to see two out and out strikers, with Dembele, Varanne, Field and co getting forward to support Frey and surely Celar...who needs more that a two/three minute token appearance if he is going to get off the mark.

Team news and manager comments to go up when on the official, enjoy if you'll be at HQ, and as always...

    ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

Surprised and disappointed to see you’ve forgotten Nick Culkin.

Doubt we'll see Varane for 3 games unless we make a successful appeal, which I doubt.

Disappointed, partly because I think I took a penalty against him once at a school visit to the training ground.

I don't think that many want to watch us at 12:30 on a Saturday.
Would be interested to see viewing figures for the 3 Championship games on a Saturday while there is a Prem game on the same time.

Excited to say I’m missing this entirely except score updates and have given my ticket away for a work event that could definitely have been a Teams call in Milan. Heading to the San Siro in a bit to see probably nothing of interest.

I watched their last highlights. They look a tidy outfit, sadly.

Yet another side who have started the season poorly, and who have been woeful until their last game against the worst side in the division. I fully expect us to do our usual, and make them look like prime Brazil circa 1970 !

I'm very worried about this game. Too soon to sort out the Blackburn mess and up against a team coming into form.

I read somewhere that people were beginning to doubt Marti. Give the guy a chance - he saved us last season and we've had an alright start with a completely new team. I heard interviews last week with Frey and Madsen last week and both spoke about the bedding in period. This team will take time to gel and even the players themselves will need time to adjust to their new surroundings/new home-life etc. I think we need to survive the season and hope/expect things to be better next season - or at the very best, hope we can pick up in the second half of this season.

Until then, i think we'll be in for a rough ride - but let's not be too quick to pounce on Marti, eh?

I still think we can do good things this season. I don't think a top 6 push is totally out of the question.

I think this because of the quality of football I saw under Cifuentes last season. It's a matter of time before he gets this new mix of players into a rhythm.

Heading to London this afternoon, a little apprehensive I’ll admit. A decent performance wouldn’t go amiss.

my first game since Cardiff away last year.

    it’s a sign I tell you
