After that dreadful first half, a 3-1 score line isn’t the thrashing I expected. 6 or 7 - 0 wouldn’t have flattered Bromley.
Martin will say he takes the blame for the 1st half as he set it up wrong. He made changes and we were better. Need to be braver. Some positives to be taken. Or similar bollocks.
The thing which is really ****ing me off, is why have Tall Paul on the bench? At what point would he have been an option for Martin? 4-0 down? 2-0 up? What's the point of having him even on the bench? We're literally throwing away any chance of winning games because of Martin’s ****ing philosophy. Take your possession at all costs, tiki taka wannabe Man City bullshit and shove it up your arse. The sheer ****ing arrogance of it. Never managed a PL game and with not an ounce of humility decided he knows best and that he can get players like BBD and Archer to be successful in that system. Never mind the fact that TP scored more goals than them combined last season. No, Martin knows best. Derby fans are going to absolutely adore Martin.
I actually think the most frustrating part about this game wasn’t the **** show of the first half. For me, it was getting a goal back and for five mins they were slightly rocked. Cue Saints revert instantly back to this ****ing ponderous slow possession game. 20 mins at least went by with us doing absolutely nothing. Then a baby flurry for 3 mins. Then full time. This simply must be coming from that big ****ing bellend on the touchline. The one with the useless look on his face. If I was Lucy, I wouldn’t even sit on that face for at least a month.
I hadn't realised that what we actually paid Sunderland £10m for was a CM. I'd like to see Stewart's pitch map, because I'm sure he had more touches in our half than theirs.
We were better second half because we stopped the tippy tappy playing out from the back, and Aribo and Lallana made a difference. And I don`t know what the issue is with KWP - he`s our best player IMO, and we can`t afford not to be playing him.
