Still think this? I think Leicester is judgement day for him. We won't get anything in the game either side of it so undoubtedly needs a win there.
It’s a huge waste to go into that game with him in charge. We have zero chance of winning. At least if we roll the dice we might get lucky and get someone in that can coach a defence.
SR, get in the sky studio now and don’t let potter out until he signs as our new manager. Don’t do what you did last time in the premier league by leaving it way too late, then getting a total dud in.
exactly what I said would happen last year, exactly why I wanted to stay in the Championship. Do you all still think i was wrong. The Championship is still how football used to be before the money took over...I hate the premier league. Honestly...can any of you say you are enjoying this?
Baffles me that people actually disagreed that this season would be more enjoyable if we didn't get promoted.
Yep if we go into that game with Russ, we’d have learned nothing from the Ralph, then Nate **** last time.
We are not a serious football club tbh. Booking that is ridiculous when he was clearly gonna be a big risk. Don’t even know why we gave him a new contract. Our owners are absolutely ridiculous tbh. Bad decision after bad decision.
I think they believed that they'd stick with him for the season even if we went down. They probably thought we'd be more competitive though.
Stop knee jerking mate Lurching from one bad decision to another this isn’t. What would have been utter stupidity would have been to give him a new contract in the Summer
Looks a broken man on the brink in the interview. Never a good sign when you chuck the players under the bus.
Yeah not saying he's incorrect or anything. More that this quite often happens towards the end of managers reign and he's giving off those vibes.
Five managers we could potentially get: Edin Terzic Sergio Conceição Roger Schmidt Mark Van Bommel Rudi Garcia Manager we will get: Frank Lampard
He isn't really making a lot of sense right now, tbh. Two or three games ago when we were losing it was time to forget what people did last season and can't be loyal to people just because of last season chat... and now he is going completely the opposite way and saying they need to come back in because we're still losing
Good summary. I didn't think we'd be able to stay up this season but the playoffs gave me hope Martin might adapt after promotion and I expected that, combined with what appeared to be a great team spirit, would make us somewhat competitive. The performances have been truly awful at times though and in the games I've seen the scorelines have flattered us if anything. Probably because teams know once they're ahead we offer so little goal threat they can relax and effectively make the rest of the match a training session.
