As we've said all season there's no goals in the team so having a manager who's dreadful defensively is a recipe for disaster.
Always thought Martin would keep his job even if we went down, as long as we didn’t go down disgraced. So yeah… he’s gone I think ultimately the squad is short of having enough to stay up - but they’d give it a better go and have more of a chance under a better manger
Trying to play rope a dope passing in your own half away from home against a high energy, high pressing side with better players than you is ill-advised, at best
The stupid thing is Dibling looked a real threat on the right in the last two games, so he decides to play him up front. It's farcical management.
Being outclassed all over the pitch, not one of our players would get into their team Squad just hopelessly inadequate regardless of who the manager is, going long is just giving them the ball back
The squad isn't hopelessly inadequate. We have quality players. Not loads but enough. RM is just making them look like a bunch of donkeys.
In business, you sometimes have to make difficult decisions. We all knew this tippy tappy style wouldn’t work in the Prem. RM needed to be smarter & adapt to the situation. He hasn’t & his team looks lost & is frankly an embarrassment. Will he change? I very much doubt, so it’s over to SR.
When do we bring in a mental resilience coach btw, our teams have had the (mental) strength of wet tissue for years irrespective of personnel.
Disagree. It's not a good squad and it's also not good management at the same time. We also won't be getting a good manager for this level, but we might find one who is good for getting us back up again
