They don’t need to guess at that end of the pitch tbf. If they get their press right then what we do in attack won’t matter
I'm going to mute my TV and open the window so I will be ready to hear the boos when Fraser touches the ball all the way from Winchester.
Have we named the same starting 11 in any game this season? Not consecutive just do any of our starting 11s match? Maybe Newcastle and Forest? Is the issue with such a big squad, very hard to get a settled side
What a mouth watering prospect this match promises to be as Southampton enter the cauldron of hate against their arch rivals Bournemouth. There will be hardly any room to breathe (without supplementary oxygen) as all 11,379 of their retiree fans work themselves into a state of mild excitement. The only ground in the country where defibrillators outnumber the fans who are just seeing out time before they are taken to the great gardening centre in the sky. Saints come out onto the pitch. Whistles all around the park as the locals adjust their hearing aides. The atmosphere turns nasty as the home crowd shout in unison "Southampton boo. We don't like you very much!" Derbies don't come much more hostile than this. A smell of pee pervades the air, K.O. time is close.
Five strikers and no CBs on the bench. No Lallana or KWP. I try my best to defend RM but those decisions are all dreadful. Smh.
Lallana can't play 90 so Martin has to decide if he wants him in at the start or to finish the game. I'm happy with either. We clearly missed him when he was subbed last week.
We have plenty of fit CBs in the squad. Taylor can play as one of three, not one of two. We are totally f*cked if anything happens to Bednarek or THB. Possibly the most bonkers bench I've ever seen.
You and I both. But no result will justify the risk he is taking here. Imagine having no keeper on the bench. This is just as bad.
typically as part of a back 3 not in a 2 - given the number of CBs we have it’s madness from a bench of 9 players to not include one. It’s indefensible if this comes back to bite us tonight
