I know a guy took freebies to feed, clothe and help with bus fares so his children could go to school.

He got 9 months for it.

    Fuk you Starmer.

If I refused to pay my gas/electric bills would the supplier be allowed to cut me off whilst illegals are being housed, clothed and fed?

They can't send me to prison as there is no room.
    Hardened criminals are being released.

I can’t understand why they didn’t legislate that the Energy Cap should remain at the rate it is now for the next 6 months (31 March 25).

At one stroke, it would have largely nullified the negativity that has surrounded, and continues to surround, the Winter Fuel Allowance.

The cost of that would have been borne by the Energy Companies - companies that have made billions of pounds of ‘super’ profits in recents years.

Indeed, didn’t Starmer indicate explicitly previously that that was what a Labour Government would do - didn’t he say they ‘have a plan’?

Perhaps his WEF bosses didn’t agree with that approach?

Starmer believes he is better than he is.His ego has gone before him.
His own faithful are now seeing that the man is a man out of his depth.
So much news coming out about his taking of "gifts" etc.No smoke without fire.
    Will he last until Christmas?
Once the Pensioners fuel payment is reversed the simple answer is no.
    Dead man walking etc
    Goodbye then inverted Tory.

I told my wife before the General Election that I would not be surprised if he had been ousted by Christmas - but I thought that the Corbynistas would have got rid of him.

The problem with Starmer is that he’s both a novice and a poor politician <cheers>

MP Rosie Duffield says she is quitting Labour over leader Keir Starmer's "cruel" policies and "hypocrisy" over his acceptance of gifts.

In her resignation letter, the MP lambasts Sir Keir Starmer for the “staggering hypocrisy” of accepting gifts worth tens of thousands of pounds while scrapping the winter fuel payment and keeping the two-child benefit cap.

In the letter she said the “revelations of hypocrisy” since the change of government in July had been “staggering and increasingly outrageous”.

"I cannot put into words how angry I and my colleagues are at your total lack of understanding about how you have made us all appear."

She added: "The sleaze, nepotism and apparent avarice are off the scale. I am so ashamed of what you and your inner circle have done to tarnish and humiliate our once proud party.”

The Sunday Times has called Duffield the fastest MP to jump ship after a general election in modern political history.

Is that genuine ? if so Wow , I can imagine the whispering going on ,and Raynor may take comfort from this as rumours are there's a split forming between her and Starmer with Raynor more popular with the unions than Starmer is and they, as always wield the power .so maybe this is the beginning of the end of Starmers reign.

    It’s her resignation letter.

I thought (before the election) that the Corbynistas could try and get Starmer out by Christmas if they won - but I didn’t expect Starmer to piss off ‘middle of the road’ MPs so quickly….
