    This always seems to happen....

had it not been for a man-of-the-match display by keeper Ben Wilson would have been as good as beaten before Jayden Bogle’s neat finish made it 2-0 soon after the interval.

Nice bit of momentum going into two very difficult away games. Sunderland and WBA both losing, great footballing Saturday

Meslier - 6. Not much to do. Really good save in injury time but a bit flappy on crosses.

Bogle - 8. Solid game. Scored and could have had another. Always an option going forward. Best performance so far.

Rodon - 8. Made marking Simms an easy day. Solid as a rock.

Struijk - 7. Injury doubt but could have had his deckchair out today. Very little to do but played an important part on keeping Coventry at arms length.

Firpo - 7. Not as effective as Bogle but still gave Leeds the width needed. Good defensive work too. Got an assist.

Ampadu - 9. Was running the game until injury forced him off.

Gruev - 7. Neat and tidy. Kept the ball well but created little going forward.

Aaronson - 8. Some lovely quick feet. Fantastic energy and commitment to the press. Proving a few wrong at 10.

Gnonto - 9. Great finish for the goal and always threatened to hurt Coventry. Got an assist too. Man of the match.

Ramazani - 8. This lad has something about him. Ball seems to stick to him and nearly curled in a screamer. Got an assist.

Joseph - 7. Worked really hard. A bit inconsistent with his hold up play. Needs a goal.

    Subs.

Tanaka - 7. Really promising debut. A different type of holding player than Ampadu but effective nonetheless.

Piroe - 7. Typical Piroe. Overall was poor but scored. I think that's just him summed up.

Schmidt - n/a. Saw the game out.

    Rothwell- saw the game out.

Farke - 8. Potential banana skin avoided with minimum fuss. Subs worked really well.

Ampadu tried to run his knee injury off but was too painful, when questioned how bad it was Ampadu replied he doesn’t believe it is too bad. Set for scans and assessment to see if Ampadu optimism is justified

I thought it was a very comfortable win. pressed really well till we got that 2nd then we sat back and said you have to do all the work now. Liking Ramazani the vision and eyes for the 2nd goal brilliant. Overall think we got everything right and made them look very very ordinary when we pressed them but it really should of been even more comfortable on the score line but a wins a win and you can't say anything bad when you pick up the 3 points just need to work on our composure in front of goal but I'm expecting we going to say that quite often this season. Happy weekend lads and lasses. gonna throw some beers doon me neck now.

Didn’t even get a chance to watch this today. Been on a charity walk called ‘10 miles, ten pubs’ - suffice to say I’m pissed.. ha. Great day out though. Now at the 11th pub outside the route! :emoticon-0102-bigsm<party>
