Cantwell replaced Pickering at HT, playing the entire second half, and provided the assist for Batth's goal. He had the third highest Blackburn rating on WhoScored, after Batth (MOM) and the other goal scorer Travis.

 

And to be fair - a brilliant assist. Must be the first time I have ever said anything complimentary about Cantwell!!

Villa had been awarded a free kick, right on the edge of the Binners' penalty area, and Emi was given the chance to score with his first kick of the game. He spooned his shot over the wall and high into the stand ........... Not good enough Emi
