Torn on that. It's the game I'll be following but I also like seeing Palace struggle after all the nonesense with Parrish and Guehi. A draw would be fine.
Everton are going to be our competitors from next season if they stay up...hopefully they get relegated.
He is a very handsome man. We should push him to the forefront of all our advertising campaigns because lets be honest we've got our fair share of players (eg Gordon and Miggy) who are kind of weird looking.
Ended up in the pub to watch the second half, felt there was a win there for us. Played well for the most part. Well, our decent players did anyway. Hall was good. Kelly £150k pw to warm a bench, another transfer master stroke. No striker was an issue, Barnes was poor, Murphy was worse. Midfield trio carried us until Longstaff came on and stamped his utter crap on things.
I thought Murphy played very well. I agree with a lot of what you say mainly but we have just probably been the better of two teams with the other being Man City. We where arguably playing the best team in world football and we looked better in a lot of it.
They aren't getting relegated. Last season a ridiculously low 27 point were required to be safe and it's likely to be similar again this year. Quite simply the divide people have been alluding to for a couple of decades between the top two leagues has finally actually arrived and it's likely that 2 or 3 of the promoted teams are going to struggle to register 35 points each year. The likes of Forest, Fulham, Palace, Brentford, Bournemouth are now already streets ahead of the teams at the top of the Championship. I'll just cross out all the teams at the bottom for you who aren't going down this season. It's 3 of those 4 and Wolves are the most likely to survive.
Agree in the main. I think "very well" is pushing it as he drifted in and out of the game but he was a big part in most of our best moves, he was up there as one of our better performers. Barnes struggled to impose himself but has probably been our best player so far this season so has probably earned himself an off match. Our midfield trio worked. They have been a weakness so far this season - inexplicably - but looked a strength today. Huge going forward.
