This will be a tricky one. But I just can't see a weak defense living with our attacking play at present. Especially Mundel and Roberts, who i feel will be key. Important week really with the next two games coming soon after. Wonder if we see some strategic rotation of the squad.

That’s why I think the strikers we have signed and the fact they are agile, good on the ball and aren’t lumps help in that regard

I agree, he's been like a totally different player this season. As a striker I still think he needs to contribute tho. But if Brown hadn't nipped that one off him. He'd have 3 in 6. Which is a good return on paper especially his age and first run in the first team. Personally I'm not worried yet but wouldn't be surprised if he lost his place to Connolly at some point.

Their defence is a bit like Boro's by the sound of it, big lumpy units not good at playing out.

I'm not sure what we've done to upset this fella mind <laugh>
"Is there a more insufferable fan base than Sunderland?"

Perhaps it's because we always take loads down there, outsing them and usually have a few dozen in their home sections.

Only striker who has more goal contributions than Mayenda is Maja. He's more than contributing as a striker!

Yeah I had a chuckle at that. Most supporters round the country seem to respect our fan base in my experience. One of the lads must have stole his Mrs haha

Yeah. Crazy he's went from not being played at Hibs to starting, and playing well, for the team 2nd in the championship. Hard work and good coaching pays off

In a reverse to last week, Sheff Wed can beat West Brom and hand us the chance to finish the weekend top of the league ...

... in fact we could even go top with a draw.
