For me, some pundits / reports are being a bit disingenuous to Joshua - I've not seen a display of such raw power and accuracy as that since Mike Tyson in his pomp ... was pretty awesome... getting tagged as early as he did obviously didn't help AJ, but it's gonna take a much better technical boxer to keep Dubois at bay ... Fury and Usyk are both that... but I'm not sure either will be chomping at the bit to get in a ring with Dubois now...
Bruno was a better boxer too! Could actually box like. Watched this yesterday, it's unbelievable how few actual boxing skills and techniques the spoofer has. They were papping on about his experience and that he's seen it all, **** off! The only boxer on show was Dubois.
Been saying it for years. Joshua's whole reputation and career was built on the fact that he once knocked out Dillian Whyte (meh, he is a decent jobber but come on) and was able to defeat an over the hill Wladimir Klitschko. I HATE Tyson Fury, I think the guy is a massive bell end, but he would tie Joshua in rings and make him look silly.
Watched a replay last night and you could see Joshua didn't look interested. There was a clinch in the first round and Joshua was just looking around, a very passive look on his face. Once he got chinned it was only a matter of time. He's been gun shy since Ruiz dropped him. Nervous and unsure. He's done as a top flight boxer...
Might watch this Scouse kid, Ball, tonight if I’m back in time. Meant to be good and should slot in nicely before MOTD.
Enjoying this, much more than the build up ****. Imagine AJ next fight will probably be against the Sheikh in some triple threat match with other members of the royal family Fancied Bivol to win and nothing I’ve seen so far has changed my mind, has been close though
Bivol on points for me but boxing judges love to be controversial and there has been some crazy injustices over the years
