Out for a Thai meal in Krakow: Polish pale ale - very nice. I had a beef in chili, ginger and garlic - good but boring photo. Mrs had the sea bass which was much more interesting:
I did brown it off on the air fryer first though, to seal it. Used dry flakes of this. Adds.a different type of chilli heat. @FosseFilberto all those syrups and cola and stuff makes yours sound a bit too sweet. Could be wrong though, obvs. I usually just squirt a bit of ketchup or sriracha in for some sweetness. And a cinnamon stick. I'm down with the cooking it with beer though. Not really the best presentation, must admit!
Not too sweet - the cola and ale seem to balance and only add the Maple Syrup or Molasses 'to taste' as acidity regulators to balance the vinegar, lime juice and passata
Got recommended a Mexican place down the coast. Really good. Goat tacos, pork tacos, a chorizo, bean and feta quesadilla and plantain.
I'll post up my fave recipe when I get chance, I love the brisket or shin recipes but the mince and stuff recipes have a place and can be as good. Went through a period of looking into the American cook off chillis and there's some great recipes out there and I think I got mine just about right.
Steak, chips and broccoli cheese. Odd combo maybe, but very nice. The steak doesn't look great on the outside as had been frozen, but air fried for 8 minutes does mean properly medium rate and actually warm.
Always appreciate a couple of big sausages Reminds me a mate used to grab a random frying pan at house parties, lay his sizeable cock and balls on it and ask people if they fancied sausage and eggs.
The coffee shop I love in town has changed up what was a good menu of ****ing awesome toasties and now do a brisket and cheddar toastie with dipping gravy. Genuinely amazing huge toasties made with sourdough bread.
