We have had 11 good halves of football and one bad one so far. So as Plymouth showed we can be beaten. However we are difficult to score against, so far we have conceded two own goals and one penalty and only one from open play and that was a goalkeeping error. We do press high up the field but we are not hung ho about it which caught Middlesbrough by surprise. If you watch the first two minutes you will see what I mean. They had the ball halfway between the penalty box and the centre circle and we didn’t press as they expected but stood off and waited even when they tried to tempt us forward to create gaps in the middle of the park. We weren’t playing the game they expected and they seemed totally confused. I will post more when you start the match thread. In the mean time you are all welcome to pop over to our not 606 page.
