No I said it's possible they do not that they will. You said the same last season about Chelsea finishing above us, you took the bet and then didn't honour it.
So are we all supposed to believe Forest are the 4th best team in the country, because the table says so?! The only real time the table makes sense as a gauge is after the Xmas period to a point, but then only definitely at the end of the season. What it says now vs what our eyes tell us when watching the football on display are polar opposites. We may take zero points from the next run of fixtures, because thats how we look.
On the subject of Hall there was a great shout about him going right wing. I’d be well up for that as he’s not a PL left back. Can he be worse than Murphy or Almiron? Othewise he could play wing back as well. I’d be tempted to go with a 343 at this point, get Joelinton back up top (as a sub), have Tonali and Bruno in the middle, and three from Krafth, Trippier, Schar, Burn and Kelly in the back 3. Livramento right wing back, Hall left, Gordon Isak Barnes up front. Allows Gordon and Barnes to come narrow as well. Think it’s where we need to go, currrent tactic is bollocks and outdated.
No, we're just not supposed to think the world's ending and start throwing our toys around just cos we've lost one game.
I believe Xmas things start to take shape. Bobby used to say something along those lines. I'm looking at performances though... other people are using the table.. let's just see what they say when the table plaster falls off. I predict they'll say the table means nothing until May.. exactly what they said last season.
At time of writing. Which is the point. If the only judge is the table, why watch matches? We should all just wait for the pools.
Using the metric of winning every home game and drawing every away game gets you 76 points (2 points per game), and almost certainly a CL place, we are +1 point (won both home games and have 4 points from 3 away games) Anyway, assuming we do lose to City, if we then go on to beat Everton and Brighton, we'll be on 16 points from 8 games, on course for 2 points per game.
Easy one to predict this one. Pep will play Foden in the space between defence and midfield and will run the show. Howe, knowing this, will not do anything and watch it play out.
