... and the winner is ... ....an All Black whose dad played for Tonga ... wait for it - I kid you not... Leicester Ofa Ki Wales Twickenham Fainga'anuku ...no bias...
Surprised no one has mentioned the former England International/Referee yet: Segar Dick Bastard Then there is the Ski Jumper: Andreas **** (not to mention, not an individual but a team) Deportivo ****a (named after the ****a Indians of that region)
Less amusing, but more fitting (So good from that perspective): Usain Bolt, Garry Speed, Robbie Savage
Or more Lilly First and only time I saw him play (cant remember his team) he went into one of our player with a reckless two footed challenge on the touchline but missed our player and broke his leg on the hoarding The referee didn't send him off even though he had his card ready until he realised he was hurt He never forgave our supporters for finding it ironically amusing until we realised the ref put his card away because he was seriously hurt and clapped him off as you normally do when a player is really hurt He took that as a pisstake and whined about it for years after ****
Giving your kid some ludicrous ghetto name definitely increases their chances of making it in the NFL. It’s always DeShaun Amadeus Jr or similar getting a billion dollars to be reserve tight end for the Pennsylvania *****s or something.
Whether intentional bias or not, there have been studies that have shown that job applications are less likely to be accepted if your name "sounds black". (they submit otherwise identical resumes with black-sounding and white-sounding names and count how many replies they get back). I don't know why anyone would subject their child to extra opportunities for people to be racist against them by calling them "De-" or "Le-".
Yeah. Have you read Freakonomics? DeShaun and DeAndre are (or were when the book was written probably 30 years ago) the blackest names. It’s also why you get black Americans with obscenely posh names. All blind CVs these days so you don’t even get the chance to filter out the mingers which is unfair frankly.
Not all blind in America though... when I'm sent resume's to review, I'm sent the whole thing, names and all... which is good because I search them up online before giving my recommendations on them. Haven't found anything terrible to exclude someone online yet, but glad I have the option to look. (not that we hire often, very slow turnover)
Brian Pinas was explosive in the box, sadly not for us though, he didn't get much of a chance for us. My favourite was probably the portuguese footballer:
