On Saturday, what will be your reaction to NP's appearance? Will you applaud? Will you stand up and turn your back on him? Will you boo? I think he did us good - sorted out the squad, but then..... .....****ed off and left us, left the players too, after denying he was leaving. UTT
I honestly dont remember him denying he was leaving to be fair, he just flat refused to discuss it. He should be given a standing ovation before kick off and then all attention turned to supporting our players and mangement team.
He'll get slated, booed and abused all game. I believe there's also going to be some fake money thrown at him. People have been singing 'Nigel Pearson, he's a ****er, he's a ****er' at every game since he left, they're hardly likely to stop when he's actually there to hear them.
he came (for whatever reason) to Hull City and sorted out a basket case of a squad. He left after bringing in young and vibrant players with much to offer. The club is better off now than for many a season espeically on playing talent. For that alone he has my thanks and applause. I am glad he left as i feel that Nicky Barmby will be much better long term for Hull City. One thing i dont miss are NP bland and boring interviews. Jeeez, were they hard work.? Nicky Barmby and the boys are the future. Nothing else matters now. The game itself is the same as the other 45. Its worth a maximum of 3 points. end of. Regardless of who wins NP can only lose as the Lesta team is the one that Sven built. Very few of NP players are left from his last time there.
I reckon he will get a similar reaction to one which Fraizer Campbell received when he came back with Sunlan. Greedy Ba***d I think it went? For me, he had a better offer and was able to get out of his existing contract. We all move on!
I have very high hopes for this game I think we will beat the hell out of them. I'm a big believer in the mental side of the game and I think our players will be very up for this one, you gotta know that they are going to run themselves into the ground because they want to show their best. Leicester on the other hand do'nt really have anything on the line it's just another game for them so we have a huge edge in that department. Expect NP's kids to play out of their skins this weekend on adrenalin alone and win by about 3 goals.
Sorry but can't forgive him for leaving in the middle of a season in which were trying to stabilise, just because his old club had cocked up his successor, and offered him a disgusting amount money. And leaving to one of our biggest rivals, giving them a boost and maybe sabotaging our season. It's not like he got us in the premiership or won games in the play-off's, ffs he actually did his job that he was well paid to do. We would have slated him if he hadn't. I'll be booing him all the way from here, pity he can't hear it. He ignored our fans while he was with us, make sure he can't now. Twat.
Nicky's certainly expecting him to get some grief... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15990260.stm?
I won't be giving him any stick, but that won't matter because I think the majority will. If we give him grief all game and they beat us we'll just feel like a set of nob heads and he'll be delighted.
The **** put two fingers up at the fans and club and simply walked away. Its our duty to slag him off on sat
ill abuse him till my throat is sore, been waiting 18 months to do it, might be childish, shortsighted, ungrateful etc.. so be it, takes more then that to stop me
I will applaud once and then give my team vocal support. we need to come up with something more creative in the chants department for him. we don't need Pearson when we've got Barmby he makes us happy when skies are grey oh nigel pearson **** off to leicester and dont take our players away
If eveyone boos him it'll end up being too pantomime. It'll be like water off a duck's back to him. I might join in with the odd song, but i won't boo him. Everyone should reserve their support for the lads and cheering them on, rather than concentrating on jeering him.
I'm torn between jeering and ignoring him. On one hand I hated the ****. On the other, he'll end up going down as one of the most irrelevant managers in City's history and we'll all end up not caring about him soon enough.
