I've already said I agree there's a chance he'd stay. My point is his contract running until 2027 doesn't really make much difference. If anything you might argue there's an incentive to sell in summer 2025 because you'd get a much lower fee in 2026 with only one year left on his contract and after a year spent in the Championship rather than the Premier League. But really this is all fluff. Ultimately it'll be up to him. If he decides he wants to go then he'll go.
Errr, if the manager deciding how the team should play is a vanity project, then I think that’s all managers then. Who would you like to decide that? The fans?
Well, it is more around his purest philosophy that clearly is going to get him sacked and likely us relegated, so yes I would call it his vanity project. How many goals we conceded this year as a result of his purest ****ing around at the back, vanity project? None? Thought you’d have a better response than that. Perhaps you misunderstood? I mean, in simple terms RM decides how to play. At most time, it is slow, turgid, sideways and backwards, and the strangest thing for me, is we take all these risks in our own half, yet get near the opposition goal, no risks taken. For me that is vanity. Fair enough if you don’t see it that way. No need to ridicule
We'll win today as I am now not going as I have been ill all week and still feel rough. The bonus is that those of you not going to get to share my thoughts during the game on here
I've placed my insurance bet and have been rubbish at footy bets recently so we're bound to get something.
The irony is that I have a Peacock subscription (only $4.99/month through Paypal and use smart DNS for region restriction) as my primary and Saints Player as my backup to watch all matches...what's the betting neither work for a game I actually have a ticket for....
I am going to the game but don't feel the least bit excited. All I am hoping for is one or two cameo performances from individuals but I am not anticipating a rousing team performance. I am anticipating a 2 - 0 or maybe 2 - 1 win to Ipswich.
I've changed my mind multiple times on how this will go. Part of me thinks we'll show up and get the win. Other part of me is that McKenna will just get the better of Martin again and we'll dominate possession but lose 1-0. I'll sit on the fence and say 1-1.
