The jury is still out for me. We still have probably four first teamers who haven’t been near the starting line up yet. The worry for me is that I just can’t see how the new system is going to work. Any above average teams will just wait until we make a mistake either at the back or in midfield (which every team does) and just pick us off. It has been the same story in all five games so far, just TWS and Blades were more clinical than the others. I’m think once things settle down, we’ll have enough to be clear of relegation zone but will that be good enough for Acun?
I questioned that at the time, because first half I thought Giles was marginally better and more effective than Coyle, so I didn't see why he was the one to get hooked. However the second half supported the decision as Drameh improved us going forward and Coyle had a much better game ending up as MOTM.
Game of two half's last night. Couldn’t get going first half as Stoke tried bullying us out of it. Gash defending again before we switched on a tad second 45. Slater coming on turned the game so fair play to Wally. Can only beat what’s in front so kudos to City. Allam’s GONE.
