He does seem to be a handful, and could prove to be a real asset in a confident and fluent team, if we ever become that whilst he’s here.
To say most of us couldn't see where Palmer would fit into the side when we signed him, he's been one of our best performers.
I think the debate over the pen was that the ref gave it for the foul on Baloumi, who was coming from an offside position, but he should have given it for the first offence on Bedia, justice prevailed
Looks as if he has a bit of final product. Omur sometimes is to much over the pitch and doesn’t pop in the right areas in between the lines.
For Canada he normally comes on as a sub! That was the case v US but think he did start v Mexico, he is the impact player we need and although he doesn’t set the world alight he works hard and does get some good crosses in
We got the penalty! Which in a way made ammends for an horrendous bias first half by him towards the home team. Much better second half by City, sparked by Millar coming on for Omur. Tim Walters and his backroom staff must be mighty relieved tonight because that second half performance was massive for the rest of the season. They now believe they can do it, because, lets face it, many were doubting them and I'd even say some of his players were too. Well done City. UTT!
Think it was. Good job there was no VAR as Bieda looked slightly offside when the ball was played in then a player who was offside when that happened was fouled when the ball was knocked away and he was chasing it. After a 20 minute discussion we may not have got the penalty. But there wasn’t VAR so fook ‘em
It should have been a red card for the shirt tug on Bedia as well, cynically clearly denying a goal scoring opportunity.
Really happy with the win and hope it's a sign of thing to come but the chances we let Stoke have in the first have we shouldn't have had a chance to get back in the game. Just lucky for us that Stoke are absolute dog turd.
No one could imagine Omur being dropped.i think we can now, but it's going to be an interesting battle between those 2 for the 10 this season.
Better second half but we cannot keep repeating the first half performances. Hopefully the win gives everyone more confidence to push on and make this experiment work
Yes, it was great. Though does anyone else think Slater appeared to be ignoring Tim as he spoke to him when he came on?,Great run by Belloumi to take the full back away to give Slater space to take the shot for his goal.
I bet everyone of then absolutley loved it. 3-1 away from home from one nil down. It's what you go away to see.
Burgess on Blunder just asked TW, "did you expect to win the game from one down at half time?" TW: "Yes..." He's got more front than Bridlington.....Good luck fella.
