Well some might get their way and we'll never find out if Erol was the right, long term option for us.
Others may get their way and he shows that he isn't the man.
Or perhaps he'll stay and prove the nay sayers wrong.
One thing is certain and that's that nobody really knows how it'll turn out until it happens. Instead we're just guided by what we perceive.
My perception is that if players had stuck their chances away, this negativity wouldn't be so apparent. I perceive progress. Not flawless progress but nevertheless positive progress.

Just drawing a comparison in a crude way Clingo.

"If the players had stuck their chances away."

"If my aunty had bollocks she would be my uncle."

The unfortunate part is that despite better possession stats we have created few chances to put away.

We really need to improve on that, very quickly.

Ramsey out for 'a couple months'.
Hopefully Colwill and Robinson will get a few more minutes.

I don't care what Erol says about defensive duties, we need to get these attacking players on the pitch.

Ah. Thanks for that. I was going up the wall trying to figure it out.

Yes, you're right about the "what ifs" in football (and life generally I suppose). I guess I struggle with the idea that players missing good chances is the fault of the boss. I also appreciate that I'm now opening up the argument about who he brought in but at the end of the day professional footballers should be scoring the chances we missed. And I'm not just talking about strikers.
Anyway, I've always believed that confidence breeds confidence and we will start finding our way very soon.

We are not creating chances and we are getting worse. We are going backwards.

It is gross negligence that he's still in charge and his press conference was embarrassing.

    Bulut Out!

Wouldn't it be great if there was no opposition when we play?

That’s a desperate rant. Appreciate English is not his first tongue but the meaning is clear. He won’t take responsibility for the totally inappropriate style of football he is asking his players to perform if it doesn’t work out on the pitch.

Did he not watch Ipswich last season? He is delusional if he thinks his style of football ie slow build up, defensive midfielders, sideways advancing at a snails pace up the pitch and no decent striker is going to win matches. This is compounded by the brittle defence and poor goalkeepers.

It just does not wash with me. I’ve made my points in an earlier post this afternoon and nothing he has said in this press conference changes my mind one iota.

The press conference is just further evidence that he should no longer be managing the club.

Delusional 1 point , 1 goal 11 against smashed on his previous League game v Rotherham. Poor transfer window , young players shipped out and made us useless at set pieces. I think he's almost certainly lost the dressing room.

It's a disgrace that he's still in charge.

Unlucky ffs. We are lucky that we played Swansea and got a point. No idea where the next one is coming from.

Its ok saying, if we stuck our chances away. What chances ? we have only created 2 or 3 good chances to date. Cannot believe Ramsey out for months again, and he is a total waste of space at the moment, albeit Bulut is playing him in the wrong position, although it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that most of the players are being played in wrong positions and the tactics are turgid. Best football we have played in last 20 years were with managers who had the Mantra, aka Jones, Warnock the more time you get the ball in the box, there more chances you will make. I believe we have some really good players in the squad and Bulut has not got a clue on how to beat teams in this league, letting team constantly batter us and then try and hit them on the break is a totally inadequate way to set our team up. The atmosphere at the ground is awful, and this is due to the style of football being served up. I would rather watch the team we put out against Southampton than the current style, as we had a very exciting match full of goals, only to lose on 2 late goals from a premiership side. At least those youngsters give their all.

Football Insider has Des Buckingham of Oxford at the top of our shopping list when/if Bulut gets the bullet.

Why would any young manager want to come to a club run by a rich bloke who knows more about hamburgers than football and who delegates to people with no clue whatsoever as to how to run a multi million pound football business?

He’s better off at a progressive club like Oxford.

I’ve lost count of how often I’ve averred the fundamental problem with our club is at the top ie Tan and what appears his total delegation of football matters to in particular Dalman.

Until there’s a proper modern dynamic football business model in place with people who know how to progress the business I fear it’s going to be a case of trying to tread water pending new owners coming in but that’s never going to happen until(if?) Tan sells. The other way is for Tan to ditch Dalman and his cronies and employing advisors to do what’s necessary to create a business model to make the club competitive and just as importantly get the lifeblood of the club, the fans, onside.

He can't ditch Dalman - too much debt owed to him.
