The Yorkies score big again. Saw Roots career stats, only ever been out in the 90's three times. His fifteenth 150+ score, with a double beckoning. The commentators said about the Pakistan fast bowlers lack of fitness. This is because they play very little red ball cricket, so hardly ever bowl more than ten overs in a day, and often only four twice a week so their body is not honed for a days test cricket.
Only 800 short of Ponting in second place on the all time list. I wouldn't bet against him overtaking Tendulkar either, but that is likely to take about four years.
