It's a street track so there's never going to be much rubber down. Canada is an interesting one as is actually a low downforce track but lots of big stops and hair pins. It rained there so that was interesting. Singapore have added a 4th drs to this one to try get cars past other's. I can see this being a drs train race. It's narrow. If everyone has drs then if one car can't actually pass then everyone else is stuck.
How do you explain Button beating Lewis at Mclaren? OK, Button was not the greatest but Lewis is still the GOAT.

Button and lewis at macca? Button did ok. If you look at the record though 2010 was one where button got a couple wins and Hamilton got a couple wins and more podiums and finished ahead. 2011 button is just more consistent in the second best car picking up more podiums but thry both won the same amount of races. Hamilton had a poor end to season 2012 button had a terrible start to season and a better finish where as hamilton ticked along all season. Both won 3 races in the third best car by the end (reliability the issue) So the issue here is the macca was never thr best car during the period but it could compete. I think Hamilton had a bit of a motivation issue where he realised the title was out of reach and his level dropped. He was 25 in 2010 and 2011 was a very average year for him Button was quite consistent as a 30 year old in 2010/11 This imo won him the title in the brawn in 2009. The most consistent driver in the best car won whereas his team.mate thst year couldn't qualify and missed the points in the dominant end of that season. Overall it was Hamilton that won slightly more races and finished higher in 2 of 3 seasons overall. Is button the best champion going? No. Did he have the best car? Yes. Was he consistent yes. Like Hamilton went to Mercedes as a 28 year old and went into a team that developed a dominant car and up against "nice guy" nico. He has a nice sighter season with the team then and beat roster bu guess what? Being more consistent. Then the turbo era appears and mercy are utterly dominant so Hamilton just has to keep rosberg in his place, which he does until rosberg gets nasty and pushes back. It'd be fair to say when it was put up to him Hamilton didn't always have the motivation to go quicker but overall he was able to bully the merc no 2 driver most of the time Hamilton in the second best car (macca) didn't win too many titles or get close to any. His record in the second and third best car is similar to what we saw from alonso or vettel at ferrari. Wdc champions who won win cos they don't have the best car but put in thrle results.
This weekend feels like it’s key for the Championship, the RedBull could/should be the fourth/fifth fastest car again and I’d say it’s between the Ferrari’s and the McLaren’s for the win. It’s probably the chasing pack’s best chance of gaining 20+ points over Max in a single weekend.
Today is crucial. But tomorrow is going to go a long way to deciding the title. Norris must win. The others are in his way while verstappen is going to be in the pack I hope.
