Yeah, I think if Lallana had been on with Fernandes and Dibling in the second half he would have had a more positive influence on us going forwards. Hopefully we go 4-2-3-1 on Saturday with Fernandes in the number 10 with Lallana deeper alongside Downes.
Ugukuchokwu gave the ball away cheaply, wasn’t hugely impressed. Fernandes looks good, bree did ok but we missed KWP’s attacking play
Ugo did some really good stuff, but had one or two rookie moments too. Nice to see a midfielder who can actually turn and attempt a forward pass for once. But yeah he is raw. Will be a great player in a couple of seasons.

I thought Fernandes just seemed to pass backwards like everyone else Lallana is still quality Why do we play Adarma as a 9? It doesn’t work!
Fernandes played a great lofted forward pass to someone who was in loads of space. I can't remember who but they miscontrolled it and the change was gone. As it didn't lead to anything it is easily forgotten but I do remember the pass from Fernandes.
He was everywhere. He linked up play all over the pitch and tackled back. Such a high energy performance!
Rumour has it Russ wipes his elbow after taking a sh*t. Adarma on the wing and BBD as no. 9, is just so obviously the right way round.
The frustrating thing is that we do offer an attacking threat when we actually attack. We just don't do that last bit enough (with the notable exception of Dibling and Fernandes, who haven't had their natural instincts to go forward drilled out of them yet. Give it time).
Not giving it to Macca is criminal. World-class save when Lindstrom was through one on one. Several other good saves. And of course the penalty hero at the end. What's the opposite of scapegoat?
