Think it was wishful thinking anyone thinking he would be re-integrated. More surprised by Onuachu (unless he left and I hadn’t noticed)
I don’t like the lineup personally but that’s just because I don’t see some of the players starting ever really playing in the PL without loads of injuries. This could be why Martin has picked them of course to give them some playing time, and having seen Evertons team we shouldn’t get completely battered. I’d rather have played more of a mixture of players who will start at the weekend, unless something dramatic happens probably only 2 maybe 3 will be starting (Ugochukwu, THB and maybe Cornet)
This will be a good test of how these players will get on against fellow Championship opposition for next season
Not sure it is all about who starts. McCarthy needs time as our only backup goalkeeper. Taylor will be pushing for a leftback starting spot. Aribo, Armstrong and Fraser will get a lot of playing time off the bench…
