I know it is not going to be easy, but cup competition no one can predict as proved by Crystal Palace yesterday against Manchester United. The first leg being away is good for us.
We need to play them exactly the way we did at Anfield - high energy, pressing with a high line - Agger and Skrtel paired up at the back - Suarez up top and perhaps consider Bellamy rather than Downing. Its certainly doable, and they haven't got the fear factor they generated after going to Old Toilet and racking up 6...
It can be done, I was thinking if Utd went through I would have prefered them to City but yeah we can do it. Hope Lucas will be back ASAP which goes without saying. As St john said, we need to get about them again. Don't give them time to breathe like. KK will sort it out for our first new Wembley trip!
Well Napoli did it over 2 legs, so I don't see any reason we can't, having beaten Napoli last season.
Four legs good, too legs bad. Anything can happen in football, we've seen it time and time again. We have every reason to respect them but none to fear them.
I think normally we are a good cup team and over two games we should be able to. Anfield will no doubt be in top top form on the second leg!! I think we can do it, City are good but they are beatable and I think we can do it. Don't want to say much else as I don't want to jinx us!
Once United got knocked out , I actually wanted to get City, we will almost certainly have to play them anyway if we win Plus if I am gonna spend an arm and a leg on goin to Wembley, I would like us to win and the odds are dramatically increased on that now.If we are gonna get knocked out, I would rather do it at anfield having spent a lot less cash As regards can we beat them, I dont think theres any question we can beat them. With them worryin about the League,we seem to be taking the comp slightly more serious than them, and with the Anfield effect, and the 2nd leg at home, I would even possibly say we are slight favourites
