i think theres still a chance tim can work out he just has to be far more pragmatic at times corners for example, its not like we've even scored a goal from them if we have a deeper line from our corners to stop counter attacks, it wont inhibit our non existant threat anyway it is simple, but he wouldnt be the first manager to be too stubborn for his own good we have enough quality to get results, we just cant throw away easy goals constantly need to give some balance
Whoever they got was going to be a tough ask, they’d have all had the same turnover of players. I think someone like Warnock would have been the best bet. Not necessarily him but if that ilk. All these new players in a new country with a manager in a new country was never going to gel straight away. Rosie’s hardly setting ligue one on fire
anyway, it's nearly Hull Fair time again so Tim should have time I agree, I fear the knives are out for him especially with the way they play leaving themselves wide open on the counter attack.
Fair points My thought on Rosie is that at least it would have had some stability not that he's some sort of Messiah (or even a very naughty boy)
Michael Carrick reckons TimTim has five matches to prove himself, **** knows where he's got that from.
They’ve won a game and scored eight goals in four matches. The only game they’ve lost was against Lyon and it was 4-3. I’d take that start over City’s current one any day.
Yeah I get the stability bit, I just think it’d be hard for anyone. The issue is above Tim and I’m not in the “acun out” club but it’s just been badly played out. The concerning bit for me is Tim was concerned by Friday night, he’s either trying to take the pressure off the players or he’s very confident he’ll turn it around
Between 1904 club and THAB, and I suspect on Syds upcoming one too, it's a bit novel to see fairly unanimous opinions.
agree, third time in a row he has hired a manager with no previous experience of managing in the Championship & then expecting City to get promoted .You would have thought he would have learnt his lesson after hiring Shota (nice chap, totally out of his depth). Of all the applicants was Walter really the standout candidate? or just the cheapest? As much as a I despised the Allams at least they had the intelligence to hire the vastly experienced Steve Bruce Seems that Acun may be very knowledgeable about football but he is not very good at appointing managers!!
If he loses both games, I don't think anyone could have any complaints if he went. I think it's premature and unfair but I think his days are numbered already
