We will lose, sell all our best players, get relegated, PIF will pull out and the world will end.

I suspect the luck will run out soon.

    Fulham are better than wolves.

But conversely we simply have to, and will, get better. Tonali starting ahead of Longstaff and Howe getting Barnes and Gordon on the pitch at the same time is a good start.

What I’m seeing is Barnes at least makes defenders worry. Murphy doesn’t. I’d rather keep them two (Barnes/Gordon) on the pitch and see Osula given time. Was noticeable we had Bruno pushing forward so there has to be a concession that the now-antiquated 433 has to adapt, we’re far too predictable. That said I think some of us, myself included, are too harsh on Howe at times.

Victory at Fulham would be very welcome ahead of the annual Man City loss. But there’s something just not right - we’re not playing to Isaks strengths for some reason, Bruno is far too deep, Joelinton has been fairly crap bar the first match, etc.

This might be the end of longstaff you know...the performances will instantly improve without him.

He's obviously a great lad but he's not better than any of the other 4 options.

Midfield 3 for me would be Willock, Bruno, Tonali. Joe hasn't been the same in last 3 games, constantly losing the ball and putting us under pressure. Front 3 of Barnes, Isak and Gordon.

Howe is the greatest ever Newcastle manager and I can't see anything but a Newcastle win vs Fulham.

I don't use faith for anything.

It doesn't make any difference in outcomes.

I'm saying I think Newcastle will beat Fulham.....now can we accept the situation and move forward without all nonsense please.

100% on the midfield but it sounds as if Isak is 50/50 for Saturday - not sure why he came off as I didn't see the game but if he made it to HT it can't of been a major issue?

If Isak isn't fit who goes up top? Gordon through the middle losses something, also means Murphy would start... Osula in line for a run out but having not featured rather see him off the bench tbh. Would anyone have a look at Joelinton up top again as a target man? Using him as a bit of a battering ram could work and he arrived as a striker but is a different beast now to the 22 year old who arrived and looked lost up top on his own. With players like Barnes, Gordon, Willock, Tonali all getting around him from the midfield think he could be an option but hopefully Isak is fit.

Sounds like a great idea but doubt it will happen. Murphy was clart again, one good moment vs Spurs doesnt make him a good player.

Howe will come up with the right formula as usual.

Barnes has to start surely. His finishing is absolute top draw. He seems to have changed his came a bit. Always saw him as a runner who needs service but he's taking people on and looks stronger.
