It’s actually a lot more accessible than it looks if you know the area. It does look cobbled together though, impressive from outside but really uneven seating columns etc inside.
I think he was joking tbh, their support is pretty steady because they've somehow stayed at the top for so long. Bribing the opposition was one of their better ideas.
When people say "safety measures etc must have been covered" these days. I nearly always think of Grenfell towers. Of course it would of been considered a conspiracy theory prior to the fire.
I'm no expert but I have been and I think I have a point. I remember it as a sort of 'Sheepfolds' kind of thing but with a long single carriageway road, one scabby pub and a ten foot high brick wall all the way along. Unless they're knocking the wall down I can see there being problems ... ... having said that I'm guessing about some of it although I do remember loads of massive gas/fuel tanks Despite my doubts I'd still be pleased if we were the first competitive visitors.
My first thought, after looking at the pictures, was it would be good to learn to swin, just in case!
Posted in the MrRAWhite thread, but thought I'd hoy it in here as well. You can never have enough laughs at Everton expense.
Felt a bit sorry for them tonight, it was a good match to watch, they just can't buy a break. Massive headache for those in power, alongside the stadium woes and points threats etc ., I bet some of their old school fans just wish they'd stayed as the old Everton, in the shadow of their bigger rivals, but with a little bit of success every so often to dwell on.
Calvert-Lewin is a real shame. Looked before the big injury like an England option but it’s destroyed him. He has literally no confidence in a one on one. I don’t see any hope for them staying up.
