I think the ball was just far enough away from Sainz foot for the challenge to be made

 

I’d say average performance for the way we’ve played this season. Not as good as Cov but not the worst we’ve played

 

I am struggling to produce a coherent response to this rather strange game. We were better in some aspects, but outplayed badly in others. In man to man contact we lost badly but in passing creativity we were easily the best. Sainz was not at the races today. Two or three chances missed, and playing for free kicks. Not sure how I feel overall. Swansea were really not that good, and they beat us?

 

But they couldn't score. We had to help them with that. Your just describing what we are, a young developing team. Expect many more games like this over the coming season. If the head coach is given time we may just develop into a decent team 18 months down the line.

 

Or maybe not. Another unconvincing performance for me after a shambles of an own goal in the third minute. Too many hopeful passes straight to a Swansea player. Both sides looked toothless in front of goal. I almost didn't watch. Not sure I will next week.
