I feel sorry for Ramsdale. He's now conceded six goals in two games and he's better than that and it's not really his fault. Ironically we only conceded 2 before he joined
No but we can stop giving away the ball in dangerous areas which stephens did many times. But yeah we are crap all over the park really so you can’t really blame any one player
He did save us from shipping probably 6/7 but we could have two keepers in goal and still concede the chances we give up
Not sure I agree. He was 100% responsible for the first Utd goal. His challenge was reckless and put us at 10 men. I think his lack of availability in the next game is a small positive out of today.
I mean, if you think going down to 10 men contributed to our defeat today I'm not really sure what to say.
So rather than going on a massive rant, I've decided to express myself through the medium of art as its supposed to be relaxing and ****. Please find attached my views as conveyed by the rudimentary clip art abilities of my basic Samsung phone.
That first 30 minutes was excellent. Take the weight off these kids and lets just enjoy the talent we have playing in midfield. We all knew this was going to be a rough season.
I'm actually really positive by those first 30minutes. Rome wasn't built in a day. I'm going to give Russell till after Xmas until I make a conscious decision on whether we should replace him. I think we have enough personally.
Yep, he selected near enough the best team and formation today so it's a case of sticking not twisting. It's a young team so maybe Adam comes in as captain and a calming influence. The team will improve the more it plays together I believe and there was enough in the first half an hour to be hopeful about. We score from the penalty and it's a very different game and result today I believe. Not many had us down for a win today but the Ipswich game is a real 6 pointer.
Did you expect anything from today? At least we have a decent team and style of play now. Better than previous matches. I think if we had started the season with this team we would have picked up points.
I think a bigger question is " What's next if the unthinkable happens and we lose to Ipswich?" How long are most people prepared to give RM given our next run of games? With the Cherries and Arsenal away, Leicester at home seems like a fixture we'd realistically look to win? And if we don't get a win there, when do we say enough is enough? I know for 1/2 hour we looked pretty good but like everyone says we completely fell off the pace afterwards. As for some of our players, BBD dreadful first touch, Archer never looked like scoring that penalty and was generally quite poor, and as for our captain the less said the better! The other thing of note was that I don't think we've given up on some of the suicidal playing out from the back. 'We're so close to being very good'
